Northwest Connections' Family Camp was started to provide a time for families and churches to be intentional about spending time with each other. The best way to know each other and build relationships is to spend time together. It is time to be intentional about our families and our communities.
There is no way to have a close relationship with someone by just spending one to two hours together each week. We can't really know our children, parents, friends, fellow church members, and especially God without spending time with them. Yet we tend to get so busy with "stuff" that we neglect our relationships. We can end up feeling isolated and lonely, and become vulnerable to temptation.
The best way for church members to deepen their relationships is to spend time together outside of the once-a-week worship service and get beyond the surface level "Hi, how are you?" relationship.
To truly be a family, it takes work and time. We firmly believe in the incredible benefits of families playing together, especially in a camp atmosphere away from the regular day-to-day stresses.
Our dream is to help connect people, families and churches...to God and each other.
